"It's really great to see all the photos from 2017 all together. You can see the progress and changes that have occurred over the year..."

Our first helper of 2017 showing the snow who's boss in March. Thanks to our raised beds we can plant earlier as they drain much more quickly than the ground does.

Our broccoli field getting some much needed attention. Our plants grew heartily enough to give us a spring and fall crop!

Meeting and working with Leo (and his various visiting family members) has been really great this year. It's also great that we have this photo of him before he shaved his mustache.

Like a proud parent, we're pleased to present the first big spring harvest of 2017! They grow so quickly in spite of the legions of insects devouring them.

In 2017 we had the most volunteers ever, and we also started hosting international volunteers up at the 'Clubhouse'. Being able to work with so many has made this year much more enriching. Thanks to everyone's help we've been able to do a lot more. Thank you so much to our volunteers!

Sharing our wonder of the farm with children is one of our favorite things. How better to inspire the next generation than provide a foundation in sensible food systems.

One of the great benefits to our farm is the proximity to this crystal clear river. We can wash our veggies and keep them fresh by submerging them in it. Using the river instead of a tap and cooler really helps cut down on water and power consumption!

Our terrific daikon laid to waste. The monkey hordes got us bad a few times, we miss those daikon for our nabe! Hopefully we'll be able to install durable, monkey proof fencing soon.

Our dear friends poke about in our lush lima bean and tomato trellises. Such fun to hang around in a forest of edibles.
